Elementary and middle schools ONLY will have Parent-Teacher Conferences on Friday, March 21, 2025. Students will not have school that day.
All high school students will attend school as normal. Parents wishing to meet with teachers may schedule meetings with teachers during their planning periods.

Documents and Information Needed for Registration:
🌈Child’s Birth Certificate,
🌈Child’s Social Security Card,
🌈Updated Immunization Record,
🌈Proof of Residency (2 forms):
1️⃣ Current utility bill with parent’s name, AND
2️⃣ Notarized Lease or Mortgage with parent’s name
Student must be 4 years old on or before September 30, 2025.

Healthcare Career Program for High School Students:
We are excited to offer the AHEC of a Summer Program again this year. This program is designed for high school students interested in healthcare careers, providing them with firsthand experience in a healthcare facility.
Program Highlights:
- Hands-on Experience: Students will participate in volunteer work at hospitals or health centers for 2–3 weeks.
- Skill Development: They will gain knowledge in health issues, patient care, job readiness, volunteer service, and postsecondary education for healthcare professions.
- Program Sites: Teche Action Clinic & Ochsner St. Mary

Ms. Summer LeDay is a 7th-grade math teacher at Franklin Junior High School in Franklin, LA. She earned her Bachelor of Science in General Studies from the University of Louisiana at Monroe in 2016.
