Mr. J Ina

Mr. Ina is a lifelong resident of Franklin, Louisiana. He attended FJHS as a student and is also a graduate of Franklin Senior High School. Mr. Ina, or Coach Ina as some still call him, was the Head Football Coach and Athletic Director at Franklin Senior High School for five years and FJHS Summer School Principal for three years.

Mr. Ina attended the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in History. He then went on to attend Southern University A & M College in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where he earned his Master's Degree in Education Administration and Supervision. Mr. Ina has spent his entire career in the St. Mary Parish school system where he began teaching at Franklin Junior High School in 1998. He is a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., The 100 Black Men of St. Mary, Inc., and the Lighthouse Missionary Baptist Church of Franklin, Louisiana. In October of 2015, Mr. Ina was elected for the St. Mary Parish Council where he serves as District 2 Councilman.

Mr. Ina strives to have a positive impact on his community and hopes to make a difference in the lives of everyone he comes in contact with, near or far.
